We are pleased to welcome you to Madrasah Al-Ma’arif Al-Islamiah where our mission is to develop and nurture our students into future Muslimah leaders who are not only intellectually progressive, but are also rooted and anchored to Islamic values with the noble purpose of contributing back to the Ummah and remaining actively involved in the community. Every student matters at Al-Ma’arif, and we strive to provide them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that is built on positive interpersonal relationships. As an institution we care for and acknowledge each student as an individual with their own talents, interests, strengths, and needs.

In Madrasah Al-Ma’arif, we strive to instill the values of Respect, Adaptability, Resilience, and Empathy (R.A.R.E.) on all our students. We will build our future on these foundations, emphasizing the quality of school life, especially for the benefit of students. Over the past few years, our school has experienced significant growth. Madrasah Al-Ma’arif has grown from strength to strength for over 80 years as a result of the collective effort of our dedicated teachers, dedicated students, and supportive parents.

In the school’s curriculum and programme, emphasis is placed on the holistic development of a Muslimah, including acquiring knowledge, developing confidence, and learning skills to adapt to a rapidly changing 21st century. We strive to develop a stimulating and appealing curriculum for every student so that they may reach their personal best in everything they do. ‘Every learner is unique and has inherent potential for learning,’ we believe. As educators, it is our “amanah” to nurture and develop every child to prepare them for life and to strive for the best educational outcomes they are capable of obtaining.
